Hello, it’s me!
And.. Guess what?! Sorry for disappointing you all, but I’m not the very beginning of an Adele’s song.
Anyway, it’s my first time as a blogger and I don’t wanna bother Camilla asking her for tips ‘cause I’ve been annoying her too much lately, chatting about my girlish Uni crush on a professor. Sooo, I’ll do my best.
Let’s get it started in a traditional way.
My name is Beatrice, I’m a nineteen-year-old student and I’m an undergrad here in Trento.
In a nutshell, I love Poetry, Photography, books, tea and coffee indeed. Basically, Baudelaire, Whitman, Eliot, Masters, Sarah Kane make me live in a permanent daydream.
Have you ever read “Crave” by S.Kane? Hadn’t you done it yet, you should just run as fast as you can to the nearest bookshop in town and get it. You’ll end up playing it in front of the mirror, trust me.
Well, contrary to Camilla I am such a huge “paper fan”!
Turning pages, fountain pens, paper’s smell drinking a black americano in a corner shop along the Thames, wondering about people passing by ..
Simply amazing. I bet this is the reason why I like airports and stations that much.
Speaking about “favourites”..
One of the best places on Earth surely is the Saatchi Art Gallery, Chelsea, London. Exhibitions there are nowhere near as breath-taking as in any other modern art gallery I’ve ever been to.
I know, I know.. You must be thinking about MoMA right now… Well, seeing is believing!!
I’m considering whether to write a couple of paragraphs about my musical tastes, but I’m not that kind of “hit list girl”, so I’m not gonna do it for now.. I don’t want Camilla to give me the boot straight after my first article.
Oh, silly me! How did I get to know her?
I first met Camilla outside Room 1 in the basement on my first Uni day and then.. Well, you know how these kind of things go.
What’s your name? Where are you staying here? What about sushi? Omg, I am a Netflix addicted, too! Seriously?!? I do love travelling as well!! How about going out for a coffee after lessons?
And now, here I am, pretending to know how to write in a fun and original way for a “guest post”.
Well – hoping it wasn’t that bad – that’s all for tonight! Have fun!!
P.S: “And I want to play hide-and-seek and give you my clothes and tell you I like your shoes and sit on steps while you take a bath and massage your neck and kiss your feet and hold your hand and go for a meal and not mind
when you eat my food […] and somehow somehow somehow communicate some of the overwhelming undying overpowering unconditional all- encompassing heart-enriching mind-expanding on-going never-ending love I have for you”
That’s an extract from A’s monologue. What have I told you? Go and get it!
