Running everyday is fun. It’s like having a little appointment with yourself, sometimes you win, sometimes you learn you have a long road in front of you. Honestly, running everyday is also very painful. Your body has no time to recover, therefore I slept with compression socks 4 times in 9 days. It’s my extreme measure in order to reduce calves pain. It’s can’t be something I often do. This is why I decided a 100 days running streak is not for me. However, a 100 days streak is still in my mind.
I decided to transform it in a 100 days exercise streak, I want to exercise every day in order to free endorphins and feel amazingly every damn day. 9 days streak is enough for now, but I might try again one day. I want to take my time, to enjoy running and to learn how to run fast, far, with and without pain.
Running is everyday a bigger passion of mine. This streak has taught me recovery days are as important as training days. Running is a journey. Finding myself is a journey.
